Unable to setup server on Ubuntu

Im following the instructions here

linode dot com/docs/applications/media-servers/install-plex-media-server-on-ubuntu-18-04/

Server is running the latest downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server-new/1.18.2.2041-3d469cb32/debian/plexmediaserver_1.18.2.2041-3d469cb32_amd64.deb

Ive checked everything I found in another thread here, when getting the “No soup for you” error. Time is fine. Permissions are fine. I noticed the other thread has a couple people having same errors recently.

I tried an uninstall and reinstall. Nothing works. Complete reinstall, still nothing. Same error. Setup starts then immediately goes to

No soup for you!

The server you’re trying to access doesn’t want to let you in. Make sure you’re signed in as a user with access to this server.

Finally getting it to work. Needed to give the vm running a network bridge and worked from localhost there to claim it. Also another report, doesnt work on firefox but worked on chrome.
