When I tune to a show that has already begun recording, Plex sometimes presents me with the option to “Start from Beginning” or “Go Live.” Regardless of which I select, it always goes to the live stream for my OTA running through and HDHomeRun.
Again, only sometimes it shows me this. Other times I do not even get the option and I can not even see the progress of the show recording. But the show does record properly and is available after it processes.
This is a fundamental feature of any modern DVR. I do this nightly, as I like to watch the news, but I can often not be there right on time. It is so frustrating to have to wait until the end to restart and see this. It used to work fine. I can replicate this on all of my Apple TV’s and it has been happening for several months.
