I am trying to find a solution to my issue. On a Win desktop, I am Running the latest PLEX media server and it is not locating all the movies on the allocated hard drive with the folder where all my 2,000 movies are stored. I have several movies located in this folder that are not being imported into PLEX. I have removed, deleted, reloaded media, updated, and scanned, the media on this drive multiple times, as well as replaced the Plex application and it is not reading them. If I go directly to the file, the movie plays just fine in any player. I am desperate for a solution to manually add each of these missing movies to my library.

Permissions are usually not an issue on Windows so the other two common reasons for this are

Filenaming- If files are named like TV shows they will not be added to a movie library

Merged with similarly named movies it thinks two files are actually copies of the same movie and merged them. This can also happen if they are the same movie or if two different movies are in the same subfolder incorrectly.

So for one of the movies that do not show up what is it file name an the path to the movie file
