Understanding error logs?

I’ve got the NAS updated and the latest Plex package installed after noticing Plex server wasn’t available (after not using it for a while). Everything works well, then becomes unavailable after a while. I tried pulling logs, but I have no clue what I’m looking at here… Any suggestions as to which file or what to look for? Thanks.

Check the Plex Media Server.log for error message (ERROR - ). If nothing shows in this file, go back to Plex Media Server.1.log

Why not simply upload the logs here, so we can look at them?

Ok, thanks! I’ll check them out.

Didn’t know if I’d get hit with the ol’ “guy just joined and look what he’s asking” kinda stuff LOL. Was just playing it safe. I’m also not very experienced with the platform yet, so I wasn’t wanting to post stuff up that wasn’t really a problem. Again… being very cautious…
Plex Media Server.1.log (7.9 MB)
Plex Media Server.2.log (10.0 MB)
Plex Media Server.3.log (10.0 MB)
Plex Media Server.4.log (699.7 KB)
Plex Media Server.log (491.5 KB)

There’s sadly no indication in the logs AFAICT :frowning:

All I can suggest are the following:

  • Make sure that the interface named qvs0 (192.168.1.10) is set as the default under Settings/Network
  • Make sure your QNAP is using a static IP address
  • Make sure, that you have a manual port forwarding setup, instead of uPnP
