I keep having an issue where my server drops the connection, I think. I’ll log in and everything appears fine on the home screen but when I go to my library, it loads for a second then says an “unexpected error occurred” or on rare occasion “the server does not allow secure connections” then it’ll almost immediately refresh and appear to load before repeating the error(s). I have a screen recording that shows this happening but can’t upload it here. Playback does not appeared to be effected, once I get a file going.
I’m having an issue on this version as well, all of my local clients are showing up as an Indirect connection.
Server version affected: 1.43.3.10828 (PMS build 1.43.3.10828-00f62d37d)
Last known-good version: 1.43.2.10687-563d026ea
Environment: Docker (linuxserver/plex image), host networking mode, UGreen NAS
Symptom: All local network clients suddenly show "Indirect" connection after upgrading from 1.43.2 to 1.43.3, despite:
Correct LAN Networks setting including both IPv4 CIDR and IPv6 /64 prefix
Port 32400 confirmed directly reachable via manual browser test
Identical config working correctly on 1.43.2, breaking immediately on 1.43.3, and reverting to working again when rolled back to 1.43.2
Steps to reproduce: Set LAN Networks with IPv6 /64 CIDR entry, upgrade to 1.43.3.10828, observe local clients flip to Indirect; downgrade to 1.43.2.10687, confirm Direct/Secure returns.
The OP (@timthetoad) is getting internet through a CGNAT connection and has stale connection information in at least one of his clients. Needs to ensure that his docker is running in host mode for network.
@_JVince, the latest version turned on IPV6 and I suspect we will here a lot from people who don’t have it setup correctly. You can specify IPV4.
