Unexpected Error when trying to view Downloads tab in Plex App on Windows

Server Version#:
Player Version#: Version 1.53.1.3225-c0bc6cc4

Hey everyone! I was wondering if there was a way to completely uninstall the Plex App so it removes the download history list on the Plex App in windows. I just want to start new. Apparently the list is either too long, or it’s corrupt. I can’t access the Downloads tab in plex anymore to view my history of downloaded files from my friends server.

So I can’t stop or delete active Downloads anymore on previously downloaded stuff.

Anytime I try to access the Downloads tab in the Plex app on windows, it just says, “There was an unexpected error, Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems”.

You can try and empty out its data folder. (while the player is not running)
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex

(Don’t confuse this folder with %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server, or you will lose all your server data when you clear it out!)

That did it! I uninstalled Plex, navigated to the Localappdata folder, and just deleted the whole Plex folder. Reinstalled the plex app, and the folder re-appeared, and now the download tab works! There is nothing in it also. Thanks Otto!
