Unknown user showing only in the android app

In the android spp there is a managed user that i do not know. The persons username indicates that the users name is Espen. I do not know anyone by that name. The same user does not appear elsewhere.

I have never had guest access turned on.

Any ideas?

How do you know it is a “managed” user. Do they show up in user switcher?

I cannot switsh to the user. It is listed in the android app as a “managed user” (under users and& sharing)

You don’t have Plex Home setup so you shouldn’t even have any managed users.

Did you join someone else’s Plex Home? If so, then their managed users will appear for you too since all Home users can see each other.

if you are not in that home anymore then the android apps cache might just not be cleared yet and still showing the user

Thanks for the suggestions. However i do not know anyone else using Plex, nor anyone with the name Espen. In fact i did not know that managed users even existed :slightly_smiling_face:

Weird thing is that the user was only visible on the android device. Ended up removing the unknown user and taking the managed users feature in use. Good things in the end after all :slight_smile:
