@ChuckPA: Am I understanding correctly that the transcoding issue + changing resolution is limited to only the web viewer? Other clients (e.g., android, Nvidia shield, etc.) should be fine?
If thatās the case, then I can once again find a time to update the drivers and plex version and see if transcoding works.
The issue is confined to the web client from all I can discern.
All other clients appear to be ok however my ability to test is limited.
(Nvidia shield, firetv, roku-4, appletv, and other apple products)
FWIW I see the crashing when moving down transcoding quality in Plex for Windows to. Setting the default to lower quality then moving up works OK.
This is a known issue awaiting attention of the Plex/Web team.
