The latest update leaves many of the old bugs and introduces new. Things such as the scrolling not working correctly if you use the letter bar on the right and others such as items not being marked back on the server when completed on Android app continue to chug along.
New issues:
•The next episode in line doesn’t always automatically play when an episode ends
•The issue with the app trying to stream downloaded episodes has returned (get error stopping the video telling my I don’t have an internet connection
•Cant even open downloaded shows root menu if I don’t have a data signal
•Player controls often disappear and won’t return until you force close the app
•If you place the app in the background to check your email or such, when returning, often the subtitles are stuck on the last played line or won’t play subtitles at all.
Same issue keeps reoccurring every few episodes where it states that I have no internet connection and need to get one. This is with downloaded episodes and even worse it occurs even when I have an internet connection
On a side note, I’m trying to roll back with no luck on a Z Fold 3. Every link I use tells me that the update won’t install because it isn’t in a package. Can someone give me a link for the proper rollback? This update is close to unusable as of now with downloads.
Same update is now telling me a whole lot download episodes can’t be played because the device can’t access external storage. This is on a Z Fold 3. There is no external storage and settings in Plex are set for internal. While the version will show latest BETA, this also occured in last public release. I moved up to the BETA to see if the issues followed. plex-log-missionsparta(1).zip (3.3 MB) turned off priority to the download and tried to stream the same episode and got the same connection error with those episodes and the same storage error with the episodes that had the storage error.
Now about half the time you come out of the root menu of a movie or show and go back into the main menu of movies or tv shows, nothing is selectable. This update is honestly a mess.
