Update wifi drivers?

Hi,

I'm trying to get a TL-WN725N WiFi dongle working with RasPlex, and I'm out of my league. This dongle requires an updated driver according to some stuff in the following thread:

http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/64102-a-wifi-usb-dongle-that-works-with-rasplex/

Some folks have produced a driver and set of install instructions for raspbian:

http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=29752

Following those instructions to copy in the new driver, I get some errors when I copy saying this is a read only file system and I can't copy or install the file to the appropriate location doing things these folks have recommended. Is RasPlex or some portion of it indeed read only?

Is there a way to get an updated driver installed in an existing RasPlex install?  If not, is there another path to getting this working?

Thanks in advance for any help.

It seems it's currently not supported. Try to find more details here: http://openelec.tv/forum/search?q=TL-WN725N&childforums=1

We will support this dongle if a stable openelec-release has support for it.

Does this make any difference?

Hi, I used last Rasplex image 0.4.0 rc4. I could see wifi networks, add my password, but it didn't connect. Did someone have luck with this adapter?

Just tried TL-WN723N on 4.1 no luck ...at least by default.

Would someone have a work around or a way to install the driver manually?

Thank you,
