Updated to Plex media server 1.25.1.5286 for Synology - now server is unreachable

Server Version#: 1.25.1.5286
Player Version#: ?

There is now no access via any apps, and http://localhost:32400/web says safari can’t connect to the server.

Any suggestions? Is there a way to revert back to the old server version which seemed to work fine?
I was using 1.20.1.3252-a78fef9a9

Synology Model?
Running DSM 6 or DSM 7?

Point your browser directly at the Synology: http://syno_ip_address:32400/web, using the actual IP address of your NAS.

Can you login?

You may see a message “this application is not hosted at Plex…” That is OK. That just means you are accessing your server directly, not via app.plex.tv.

If you can login, go to Settings → Troubleshooting and select Download Logs. Upload the entire ZIP file to the thread. Drag it into the message window, it will insert at the cursor location.

If you cannot login to your Plex Server, then retrieve the log files manually. Login to your Synology NAS and follow the steps in FAQ #13
.

Thanks for the reply.

The synology is a DS1019+ running DSM 6

Unable to log in directly pointing at the synology - “safari can’t connect to the server”

I will go through FAQ #13.

Appreciate the help

Can you please use FileStation ,

Open Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server

Right-click LogsCompress to Logs.zip

Download the file then attach here .

We will look at it.

Thanks for the input but it is now working.

After unsuccessfully trying a few different things last night, I decided to just try downloading the update again and doing a fresh re-install of the same version.

This time, after running through the identical process, plex was accessible on the local host and apps.

Not sure what happened but it’s working now.

With thanks for the help.
