You can prevent PMS from updating automatically by setting Settings → General → Server version updates to “Ask me.” Also, you can reduce the frequency of updates by setting Settings → General → Server update Channel to “Public.”
Finally, if you’d like to be notified when there are PMS updates, you can set your interest to this forum thread to “Watching.”
It is updated (most of the time) when there are new releases to either the Public or Beta update channels; release notes are included.
