I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problem I am having when it comes to the plex pass.
I purchased the plex pass shortly after getting plex hoping it would help with the enjoyment of using plex but I have found that I dont think I am. I do not get trailers with my movies, or add ons that may come with the movie (IE: any additional features that may automatically attach to my movie) and the same with my TV shows, I was under the impression that by getting plex pass if a tv show has added features on your physical copy that you would also get those - somewhat - additional features to be added by way of plex pass. I have seen youtube videos of ppl having trailers on their video pages as well as additional features. But I have yet to recieve anything on my videos.
My current version of Plex is :
Version 4.97.3
and the current version of my NAS that I use for my plex server is:
NAS TS-328
Everything is updated as I check and do updates daily myself before running my plex server.
I am using windows 10 as the OS.
I am also not computer savvy so any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need me to check my software, hardware, program in anyway please leave a step by step for me to check as I may not know what or where to go to answer any unanswered questions you may have. I will do my best to answer any questions you want to help me get to the bottom of this problem. I just want to know why I paid for plex pass and seems like I am not getting any value out of it.

Those do not just automatically turn on when you get a Plex Pass. It makes the feature available. You still need to make sure your libraries “refresh” to gather that info. First, edit the library and make sure the setting is enabled.
Yes I did this thank you so much for your help. I guess I just wait a while and let it gradually kick in. I will check back again in the new year if nothing has happened. I don’t even have that stuff for movies how ever I watch a you tube on plex and noticed that someone has a movie I have and they show extras but I am not. So that’s how I know its not working.
If you haven’t already started refreshing the entire library, you can hit “Refresh metadata” for 1 movie and see if it works. We don’t have extras for all movies but most main stream ones should have something. If it doesn’t work, hit refresh on 1 movie, wait about 1 minute if nothing happens, then grab your server log and post it here for me to check what happened.
This information comes from a 3rd party called IVA. If your computer/network/isp is somehow blocking this, that could also prevent extras from appearing.

Quick Question:
So if I have a bloopers reel for example on a dvd that I could transcribe, does that not mean that out there somewhere, plex should slowly add the bloopers itself since I have it that should mean its available for plex to get itself? or am I not understanding how this works? if not please explain further. For me to understand the concept of your plex app will greatly help me with the future growth of my library and also won’t have me ask so many questions on this forum.
