I’m trying to get Plex on my Mac to recognize my Terratec Cinergy T USB XXS but I’m having no luck.
Here’s some background info:
- running the latest stable (not beta) Plex for Mac
- I already tested with EyeTV 3 and the tuner is fully functional
- I was able to get the tuner to be recognized by Plex on Synology
- I plug it straight into the Mac (so it is definitely a powered connection) and the operation light turns on as expected. I tried all the USB ports on the said Mac.
Given that the tuner does work on the Mac, and that Plex on Synology detects it, too, I’m confused why it doesn’t work appear as device in my DVR Setup. I tried restarting the Mac and changing USB ports but no luck, I’m afraid.
Is there something else I can try?
