I have a Samsung TV. Navigating on any TV with your remote control should be efficient.

Problem:
When you are in the Library plane and you are on the “sorting line” I would love to be able to reach the alphabetical index or the scroll bar on the far right directly from that line e.g. when you stand on the “shuffle button” with one more right click on the remote.

Just to clarify if I understood your suggestion correctly…
If the navigation is focused on the shuffle …

  • currently you need to navigate down to get to the posterwall / library pane, then click right to access the index bar
  • you want to be able to access the index bar simply by clicking/navigating right

The first one.

But your description is incorrect!

Currently when you are on shuffle you have to navigate 1x down and 7x right.

As the down will end you up on the first movie of the first row.

I would not have made this suggestion if it was just one button press more.

But it’s 7 button presses more which is more than inconvenient for something that can be fixed with 1 press to the right with less than 7 lines of code in 10 minutes :wink:
