I invited someone to my Plex Home. They accepted the invite, but their username did not show up in the home, so I then deleted the pending request. However, now when ever I try to add them back it says “(username) is already part of your home” and only grants them library access. I have tried multiple devices, browsers Windows app, all say the same error.
It seems others have experienced this issue as well over the past few years and this problem still has not been addressed from the user side. @dane22 was able to assist one person by dming the email account associated with the error account here.
Any assistance with this issue is appreciated.
Update-
I completely removed the user from sharing and restarted the PC that Plex Media Server runs on. I then updated the Server. I was able to resend the invite without the error appearing, and the user was able to join.
