Plex Pass
Users in the Plex Pass group are Plex Pass subscribers. Their posts will have the group title next to their usernames and their avatar will have special “flair.”
Plex Ninja
Users in the Plex Ninja group are honored, carefully selected members of our community, who volunteer their time and effort to help make the forums a better, more productive place for all. They are also involved in earlier testing, often at the alpha stage, and collaborate with various Plex teams. You can identify Plex Ninjas by the group title next to their username in posts and also by their ninja-esque avatar “flair.”
Team Member
Users in the Team Member group work for Plex as contractors. They’re here to help! They can also be part of one of the many teams at Plex, for which they work alongside employees. As with the other groups, you can see their group title next to their username in posts. Their avatar “flair” is the same as what the employees have.
Plex Employee
Users in the Plex Employee group are full-time employees of Plex and come from a variety of teams. Depending on their role, they may or may not be active in the community forums. Their group is also visible next to their username in posts and they share the same avatar “flair” as the team members.
