I have an LG C9 and I use XPlay to watch my 4K remuxes. However, after a TV software update, I was required to sign into my Plex account again in XPlay, and XPlay listed a different User ID and reverted to trial mode. I contacted Bublikoff, and he said I needed to login to the Plex account that I activated XPlay with. The problem is I only have the one Plex account, and that is the one I’m logged in as. The User ID that XPlay is currently reporting is different than the User ID it reported before. I tried looking through my Plex logs and the ‘old’ User ID is listed in the logs many times but the “new” User ID is never listed at all.
I’ve Tried going back to the native Plex app, but it is constantly buffering (everything is direct playing according to Tautulli, and the TV is on 5G WiFi) and I can’t even get the movie to start on my Chromecast With Google TV. I suppose I can purchase XPlay again, but is the User ID going to change again in a few months with another software update?
