Server is configured with one admin user and two managed users.
Open iOS app, user list appears. Select a managed user. Play some content.
Force close the app while the content is still playing.
Open iOS app, user list appears. Select the other managed user.
The mini player is still there, showing the content played by the previous user. Opening it lets the second user play it, even if they don’t have permission.

At the footer is a mini player indicating what the last user was playing. Expanding it shows more info about the media item, but trying to play it presents an error. This doesn’t occur every time, and is difficult to reliably reproduce.
Suggestion: Instead of showing the user list every time the app opens, just open to the last user. The way the AppleTV client works is a good model for this.
Hey @DaveBinM, I am actually experiencing a variation of this; was just about to make a separate post until I saw this one. I have two managed users as well, and when I go to into their accounts sometimes, I get switched back to mine (admin) as evident in the left menu. It literally doesn’t take much more than that; just switching between them will sometimes trigger this bug.
Actually, I was just playing around with it to reproduce it and so I could save some logs, and one time I switched to one managed user account and it switched me to the other managed user account. So this is not limited from managed user > admin … can go managed user > managed user. I will send you my logs in a DM. Thanks.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I’ve experienced this on all my different iOS devices. A while back I was replicating settings across devices for my kids and encountered this over and over while I was switch accounts on the various devices. I thought I was going crazy, but it is definitely happening!
