I’m having an issue where another user’s views and in progress status is visible on my account. On Android, Mac, and web, it displays shows in “continue watching” and “on deck” of movies and shows that I’ve never seen, but the other user has been watching. I thought at first they were somehow logged into my account, but if I check on PlexPy, it shows the plays on her account. I am the master account.
If you are using the trakt.tv plugin, create a filter in it
https://github.com/trakt/Plex-Trakt-Scrobbler/wiki/FAQ---Scrobbling#2-why-are-videos-watched-by-other-users-being-scrobbled-to-my-profile
I am not using the Trakt plugin. When I log into my account, it looks as though I have been watching these things, however, I haven’t. Also, in PlexPy, it shows the correct user.
Are these other users situated in your own home network?
Check your Plex database for damage:
- activate debug logging (not ‘verbose’!)
- quit Plex Server
- wait 1 minute
- start Plex Server
- wait 5 minutes
- fetch log files and attach them here
Or inspect them yourself. Take a look at the Plex Media Server.log
file and seek for messages about database corrupt
or malformed
.
If you find these, you may have to repair your database.
