Randomly I have another user who watched shows on my plex server, and it shows up as I watched the show even though they are logged in as a different user. It will show up in my continue watching. They watch stuff all the time and this only happens once a few months.
Are these users in your local network,
or are there VPN connections between your and their home networks?
If so, look at " List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth"

A second avenue to explore is possible damage of the server database file.
Verify that you are not affected by the recent explosive growth in size, and that your database is healthy. Both can be checked and likely repaired with
