Using 2+ Homerun Primes

Johnm - have you upgraded to the latest release - 1.7.4.4017 - and tested the multiple tuners?

I’m in the process of setting up a vm that I can either use as a base for multiple vm’s or as a testing spot for new versions.

Either way I’ll have to wait a few hours to test as Dr Who is recording lol

I would like to know how people got Windows Server 2016 to use . . .but I guess I’m going with Win 10 Pro.

Upgraded last night. Still unable to record more than 2 shows at the same time. My 2nd Connect or Dual is never used. I currently have no conflicts as far as needing 3 tuners so not worried but sure hope Plex fixes this inability to utilize all tuners soon. May have some time this weekend to actually restart computer and pull some logs after trying to record 3 or 4 shows at once. Have about 6 hours on Saturday with no scheduled recordings.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I deleted one of my HDHomeRun Prime tuners and added again. First I selected the channels using the HDHomeRun Prime Setup application and when selecting the Device Input ID a web page comes up with a list of channels that again must be scanned. From this list you can select or “X” out channels which I did. Now when I add the device in Plex, some of the channel I selected to watch show however, now several do not have an associated “Channel Guide”. I now I can get these channels since they can be viewed in Windows 10 media player. How do I add the channels shown in Plex after completing scan that are not checked?

Still trying to work out issues with channels not showing up after competing scan of HDHomeRun Prime. My current work-a-round is to use HDHomeRun DVR app which DOES work for both Live and Recorded programs. My Plex program guide is not using the HD channels I selected. Plex should either fix the problems or pay the programmers as HDHomeRun to make their app work.
