So I’ve been using a Logitech Harmony Remote with the Plex app, and it works great, however one annoying thing is that I can’t find a way to get the skip forward and skip back buttons working on it with plex, only fast forward and rewind work. Does anyone know if it’s possible to get skip forward and back working in the Samsung Plex app with a Harmony remote? I’m wanting to just skip to the next episode in a series with one button, as it takes several directional presses currently.
Does using the Samsung remote provide this functionality? If so, then it should be possible to program the Harmony to do the same…
The Samsung remote is one of those stupid new ones that only has like 5 buttons, so it doesn’t have any dedicated media buttons, but play, pause, stop, rewind and fast forward all work.
Ok, managed to get it working by changing the TV model in the remote to a 2018 model instead of the 2017 model I have, this had skip functions already programmed and everything else works for the 2017 TV as well, so workaround found.
