I have an external hard drive where I store my music folders and rather than connecting to laptop and streaming, I want to plug in the drive straight into the ps4 usb drive at the front. Plex plays flac files and can randomize all my tracks from all the artists at one time, which the media player on the ps4 can’t. Is there a way I can do this? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Plex for PS4/PS4 doesn’t support local media, you would need to add your media to a Plex Media Server.
