If you want to share multiple media of the same kind by using labels, it is uncomfortable to label them manually one by one. So I created a smart collection containing the media (in this case movies) in the hope, that labeling the collection would share the whole content of the collection as well.
Unfortunately, only the empty collection is shared. It would be a nice feature if the media in the collection “inherits” the label from the collection and is shared as well. Similar to access rights in rights management systems. This way you could easily share an arbitrary amount of specific media without sharing the whole library.
There’s an existing feature suggestion thread discussing an option to apply a sharing label of a collection to all its items. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’ve missed some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
