Everything works good after Installing Windows 10 except opening PMS on the computer.
When using the new default browser Microsoft Edge, and trying to open PMS from the taskbar. I get a page saying We can’t reach this page, Make sure you’ve got the right URL: http://127.0.0.1:32400.
I can reach PMS fine through the Roku on my TV, and everything is working good, but if I want to do something with PMS on the computer I have to use the Plex.tv app, or change the default web browser to Internet Explorer, or Google Chrome. Then PMS will open up fine from the taskbar.
After a dozen repairs and downloads of current versions of PMS, it still will not Open from the taskbar with the Microsoft Edge Browser.
The Plex.TV server app will launch with Microsoft Edge with no problems at all.
I can use Edge to open PMS using http://local host:32400/web/index.html or by using IP address:32400/web/index.html. It is just a problem with opening PMS from the taskbar.
Make sure you have either the released version of Windows 10 or at least the technical preview build 10240.
Install all windows updates.
Install the latest Plex Server Version 0.9.12.8
It is the released version from windows update, installed yesterday with the latest Plex Server 0.9.12.8.
Have you installed all windows updates?
Are you using 3rd party antivirus/firewall?
All updates installed, and using McAfee with current updates. It works with IE and chrome, just not Edge.

Give Microsoft some time to iron out the flaws in Edge. Altough it works on my system with Plex.
But still, I’d treat Edge as that what it is for now: a beta version.
I also have the same problem. It works with every other browser but Edge seems not to respond to the address…
Using Edge in Windows 10 10240, I can’t connect securely to my server on my home network, but I can reach the shared libraries securely. The PMS page has a message about secure access where my server tree should be. I can connect in IE without a problem.
M2, today set the IE to Edge as standard but now no PMS!

Microsoft Edge doesn’t work. Period.
Microsoft has been notified about the issue. The reason is known, but apparently they cannot be bothered to fix it.
Use either Firefox or Chrome for Plex.
Or, even better, install PMP.
