Changing the profile does affect the subs for me. I already tried the previous sample you sent, and it worked flawlessly for me (across five different Android devices), which is why I asked for more, and for you to verify the issue still occurs with the sample.
Changing the display settings affects the entire display, not just videos. If you are even on the Apple TV home screen and change the colour temperature or from Vivid to Cinema Pro, you’ll see it change. The display can’t distinguish a video signal that’s a home screen or a movie. It just knows it gets a video signal at X refresh rate in Y colour space.
Please try what I suggested with forcing a transcode and burning in the subs, to see what happens.
im trying to transcode but i keep getting the message the sever cpu not powerful enough. However i have a trailer with burn in subs and yes it displays fine. The color varaition should not differ sub wise between andriod tv and apple tv as im connected to the same tv. As in the last round of screen shots i sent there in something preventing it from displaying properly . Changing the picture setting on andriod tv doesnt affect the subs for me. And whites are greyish and colors are dim this was not normal for subs. I wish i could show in person its only happening on the plex app
i have made a video were i start off in the plex app and switch to apple tv you can see the colors for subs only are off. I understand it works on other andriod devices but its not working on my Sony 950g maybe someone with the same tv or newer models can replicate Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere.
