Hi, I just received the beta version of the VBox software that supports Plex. I have not made it work yet but my network setup is a bit complicated, my plex server and Vbox are in different subnets (and countries) connected via a private openVPN connection. I will let you know how it works.
I have more info. My Plex server and my VBOX DVR are in two different networks connected via openvpn. Apparently Plex discovers the DVRs using SSDP which for the type of openvpn connection I use does not work. There is a manual setup entry in the configuration page of the DVR functionality in order to set the IP manualy, but it is only for HDHomerun so there is no way to set-up the IP manually for a VBOX DVR.
It would be nice to have that, until then I cannot test this functionaliy.
