Manual Network Address for Non-HDHomeRun Tuners

It would be great to have the ability to manually enter the IP address/port/path for non-HDHomeRun tuners. Plex doesn’t seem to require broadcast traffic to/from the tuner for normal operation after the initial SSDP discovery, and relying on SSDP discovery makes setup difficult for anyone with a segmented network.

My experience with a VBox Android TV Gateway (XTi 4174) in a different VLAN than Plex:

Thanks for the response and clarification. I was trying to add it manually. I had some challenges getting it discovered via SSDP (devices were in separate VLANs plus Plex was in a Docker bridge network that couldn’t send/receive UDP broadcasts outside its subnet). Obviously those are self induced, but being able to enter the address manually would have been beneficial and saved me a few hours in Wireshark. I have not made it work yet but my network setup is a bit complicated, my plex server and Vbox are in different subnets (and countries) connected via a private openVPN connection.
