VC1 Video won't Play on Nvidia Shield

I have 2 movies, ripped from HD-DVD (Matrix and Matrix Reloaded) with MakeMKV. They are VC-1 encoded with Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby TrueHD audio tracks. In Plex on the Shield, it plays and then stops with the error:

Playback has stopped because the connection to the Plex Media Server has been lost. Please ensure the server is available and retry.

The video plays fine from any computer with VLC, or from my Xbox One, but on the Shield, it gives this error. I have attached the logs taken shortly after receiving the error a couple of times on the video. Hoping that helps to find what is possibly wrong.

I have seen BD remuxes of this title have artifacting issues right from the start. It seems to be isolated to the Shield regardless of the app used for playback.
