Version 1.19.5.3006 duplicate filtering not working

I’ve tried this on both the web app and the windows app. I can filter libraries by other categories, but not by duplicates.
I get an error that “There was an unexpected error loading this library” if i click retry it goes back to unfiltered.

I have the same problem :disappointed_relieved:

same here… and Optimizing Database is working endless.

and loading the Libary is much slower!

Yup. I just came in here to see if anyone else posted. Some weird glitching and latency issues as well. Things just “feel” off, which I know is absolutely not helpful.

I’m attaching logs though! Duplicated reported issue before downloading logs.

Plex Media Server Logs_2020-06-30_09-11-48.zip (4.4 MB)

I’m having the same issue too. I thought I had a much larger issue with corrupt DB’s/libraries and so I started doing extra troubleshooting before finding this in the forum. I hope I didn’t make it worse by shifting some files around (I kinda did a dirty DB restore). Please fix the duplicates filter!!!

Eek, yeah careful with that.

FYI, from my previous comments.

Fedora 32, latest preview PMS build.

I’m doubting it’s OS specific though.

However, I can understand what you were thinking. Things just appear more sluggish and “odd” with this build. I have a stupid fast PMS and it’s dragging.

It looks like 1.19.5.3006 was pulled back. It only showed up for download for a few hours. It never got an announcement on the forums, and it’s not available for download any more.

There are multiple complaints about this same behavior. Rolling back to the previous version resolved it for me.

I’ve been running 1.19.5 and just had a weird issue where Plex consumed 100% of my CPU and I had to use Qfinder to force restart.

For anyone else who is seemingly running this pulled version successfully, I’d recommend rolling back anyway before something like this happens to you.

Thanks. how did you roll back? I downloaded and tried to install 2916 but the installer fails saying there is a newer version.

Assuming you are on Windows, you should be able to uninstall via the system Control Panel and then install the desired (older) version. The app data is preserved.

SOLVED!!!
Step 1: uninstalled the Plex (you can do that in Windows and no loss of DB)
Step 2: download from the webiste version 1.19.5.3021-1917d3cfa

now it works PERFECTLY

I made several backups just in case and successfully rolled back to .2935 yesterday. I’ll wait a bit and then upgrade to .3021 (or maybe even the next build).
