Server Version#: 1.19.5.3006
Player Version#: 4.36.1
When I tried to view my movie library and selected View Duplicates, the display spins the progress wheel for quite awhile, and eventually displays “There was an unexpected error loading this library.” In addition, the display at the top disappeared, that allows you to select what you want to view. So I can’t switch to a different view. I’m not sure if viewing All would fix the issue, but I can’t get there so it’s a moot point.
I have tried everything from this thread, which was older and has been closed:
I’m suddenly seeing the message “There was an unexpected error loading this library” when trying to view my TV section in Plex Web. I have no such problems viewing the section in Plex Media Player or the iOS app. I’m running the current version of the server (1.4.4.3495), restarting it didn’t solve the problem.
I also tried to repair a corrupt database, as shown here:
https://support.plex.tv/articles/201100678-repair-a-corrupt-database/?_ga=2.179895527.271995570.1593289122-209257092.1592106564
Neither of these solved my issue. It still remains the same.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Same here I’ve noticed this since last update
Ah ok so maybe it’s not a corrupt database … well that’s good to know, I guess I’ll just wait for a fix then.
I have same problem today, after last server update…
I have been having the same problem for the last 5 days.

Can also confirm on FreeBSD.
In PMS 1.19.5.3006 I can’t view Duplicates in a library. The library view doesn’t load, and there’s almost nothing in the PMS logs. The “I’m thinking” spinner remains on the page until the “There was an unexpected error …” screen appears.
This happens in multiple libraries, big or small, and happens whether the library Does or Does Not contain duplicates.
If I roll back to 1.19.4.2935 or go sideways to 1.19.5.2916 it works fine.
Same problem over local IP web access, via app.plex.tv, or Plex.…

James you may have a different issue. For the rest of us it began with the latest 1.19.5.3006 version.
Did it begin happening to you on this version? Does it resolve if you revert to the previous version?
Not to downplay your issue. You may want to gather more details and post another thread, if it doesn’t match.
I just rolled the server version back to 1.19.4.2935, and the problem disappeared.
Same issue here, driving me nuts. I’ve tried the same things as the OP

Same issue here on Windows. Started right after the latest update.
Rolled back to the previous version and it’s working fine again.

It looks like 1.19.5.3006 may have been pulled.
It was never mentioned on the announcement thread.
It’s no longer showing up as a suggested update, and is no longer available on download page.
