will plex ever be back/available on the vewd store or is it time to upgrade the tv?
Probably or buy a box like Shield or Roku Ultra. Cheaper option.
Cheaper and better supported.
Then again I’m happy with my LG 65"OLED B8, the LG UNO app is working well for my use case. My 5yr old previous TV died from a Technical issue, value of repair was $300US. So if your TV is in good shape and not too old the above recommendation is a solid choice.
While yes I can go with a Roku or something, but since I already have Roku’s for all my rooms and I bought a “smart tv” becuase it was once supported by Plex… as I have 3 little ones in my home I only went with the tv so there was no little streaming box for them to get ahold of “tv is wall mounted”
Plex is still available through Vewd.
