I have enabled users to download content, how is this done to download?
Users can download media to the mobile clients (iOS/Android) and the (regular) desktop client (Windows/macOS/Linux). There, they should see a download option in an item’s context menu or a download icon (downward arrow) on an item’s details page to trigger a download.
Downloaded items are listed in a separate Downloads section of the sidebar navigation.

Important to note: Accounts that want to download must have an active Plex Pass subscription to download. A year ago or so, it used to be that the server OWNER needed the pass, but it has since been swapped around, and the USERS need to have it now.
