The current version of the Plex Android app needs to be adapted for hole punch cameras. The video is centered between the bottom of the camera, and the bottom of the display, when it should be centered between the top and bottom of the display. This issue is especially prominent when the video is widescreen, and a black bar appears on only one side of the screen where the camera is. There’s other apps that behave correctly such as YouTube and VLC, so it’s not an OS issue.
Edit: it works when Full Screen in display settings is enabled for Plex. All other video apps don’t need that setting. It’s great that Plex handles it correctly!
Got the same issue on the Motorola Edge 20 Lite. Please add an option to use the whole screen (see for example how MX Player handles it). Thanks!
