Videos can't be full screen on Pixel 6 Pro

Server Version#: 4.70.0
Player Version#: 8.25.1.28703

I bought the new Google Pixel 6 Pro, and it looks like Plex won’t use the full screen, no matter what settings I adjust or the zoom level I select. About 20% of the screen stays dark regardless of what I try. It seems like the image stops where the hole punch camera sits, so maybe Plex doesn’t realize the screen extends beyond/around that point? Screenshot is attached.

Thanks for all your amazing work! I’m a proud Plex Pass subscriber!

If I had a hole punch camera, your screen shot is what I would want. Having a hole in the video would bug me. What do you want to see?

I’d much rather have it use the full screen, the same way YouTube, Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, and all other services do. Yes, there is a small bit of black where the camera is located, but that becomes unnoticeable. However, Plex currently looks really odd, off-centered, and small.

Fair enough I guess, if there is an established standard Plex should use it.

I don’t have a hole punch so I never thought about it.

on my pixel 6 pro, playback is not full screen. ie the video window stops before the camera punchhole. the same files play back correctly in other media players. any clues?
