Over the past few days I’ve been noticing issues with my video playback on Plex with all my devices. When I play a full HD movie, I get choppy video with pixelation (images/video attached). This just started happening, and seemingly unprovoked. Nothing has changed on my media server setup.
There is no issue with sound or buffering.
Please help.
The same thing started happening to me. About the same time too.
Nothing has changed in my infrastructure. I never had pixelation like this before.
Any luck resolving the issues?
I turned off direct stream, made it a bit better, but it still happens on occasion.
Can’t find another solution. Kind of frustrating.

I also was experiencing this problem. The problem disappeared after disabling the “Automatically adjust quality (Beta)” option.
I’ll repost it is reoccurs.
I’ll try this over the next few days.
Has anyone one else had any luck after doing this?
I’ve tried disabling direct stream. It helps, but the issue does still occur, yet much less often than before.
