Video playback quaility and subtitle question

Hi there,

 

Baically I have two simple questions I dont see on wiki.

  1. How to change the playback resolution/quality for plexconnect? I have a 1080p movie and I changed to lowest quality 64Kbps, on Seetings -- Plex|web -- Streaming Quality, but Plexconnect always play a HD way, my bandwidth is a little overload.

  2. I specify one .srt subtitle, and whatever audio track I use, in this case, AC3 or English (VORBIS Stereo), the PlexNewTranscoder.exe throw out runtime error from PMS. Is there any compatibility issue with subtitle? What's the requirement for subtitle, or any configuration docs?

For the 1/ I think you have to do that on your aTV3 > PlexConnect > Setting > transcode quality

For the 2/ you can try to force the transcoding (in aTV3 > PlexConnect > Setting)...

for #2, transcoder on PMS will throw out runtime error, seems it cannot handle srt? Anyone successfully load srt subtitle?
