I just got a new Nvidia shield and I’m trying to use it as a Plex server and it’s working quite well for my needs but there’s something I don’t know how to fix if I stop a video and come back later I have to start it from the very beginning every other every other Plex player I use I’m able to resume from where I left off is there a setting I need to turn on or something

What Plex client are you using?
The Android TV and Android Mobile clients both support resuming from where playback stopped.
Screenshot from Android Mobile client below. The Play button has a progress bar. Tap it to play, and you see the popup to resume or start from beginning.
Note there are limits. If you stop playback in under a minute or so, Plex might start from the beginning by default. Also, if you’re already rolling credits, Plex will consider the movie played and start from the beginning the next time you play the movie (I don’t know exact limit but it is somewhere around 95% of movie length).
I fixed it by uninstalling it fully and reinstalling the Plex TV app ty for the help tho
