I have Roku players that this works on. I added an Nvidia Shield today. Is there any way to get the thumbnails to show on android tv when you are paused/fast forward/ rewinding?
When the “pause-fast forward-rewind” overlay is on screen, push “up” once on your remote to highlight the progress bar. Then the left and right arrows will move the indicator across the bar, and the thumbnails will be displayed.
It does seem a little more obvious and easier to access on the Roku, but they do work on Android, just an extra step to get to them.
