I’ve been enjoying my Plex with the Lifetime Pass, however some movies/TV-shows “stutter”. That’s the best way I can summarize it. Basically it’s like the video goes back and forth a frame every second while the audio is fine. I’ve tried different movies (HEVC Main 10) and it’s consistent no matter the codecs. It does this on both my TV, Phone and PC locally as well as outside the network. If I convert from 1080p to 720p or “convert automatically” the stuttering stops and the video works fine, however I shouldn’t have to. Works well locally with VLC.
I’ve tried enabling hardware acceleration, changing video quality and transcoder quality and just about every setting that’s available to me.
Any ideas? I can also mention that the specs of the server are far from the issue.
