I have tried to copy a dvd direct to Plex server (meaning the complete Video-TS folder) but Plex seems not to be able read and understand the reading way of This type, will that soon be able ?
Hmm such a shame because I am in generally satisfied with Plex but Plex is almost the only one that don’t support those file types and for me as a Danish person that is almost important since 99% of the Danish movies only can find the subtitles what is on the dvd that lays inside the vob-files and that Plex can’t find out of 
Have you ever tried makemkv? It remuxes the whole DVD into an mkv file and preserves the subtitles. One can select which ones to keep.
No I haven’t tried makemkv but I will try, does that one also preserve the possibility for chapters (step in chapters) like it is possible to do on a dvd (that I also am missing in Plex, so that I not only can “fast forwarding” in movies)?
If chapters are present - they will be preserved.
You will have to name them, but the chapters will be there.
