Have a bunch of videos i recorded in correct format they don’t show up(, apparently i need to use some naming convention for plex to see them( when i change name they appear) how about just show videos i have in plex folder in the app regardless of name.

You might want to use an other-video type library for that.
Generally Plex depends on their naming especially for tv based content to properly identify to which show, season and episode a file belongs.

That’s a shame, i like using it for TV/Movies, I’d just like to also be able to watch non tv/movie files in the folder view.
Seems like more work to prevent it than allow it
