I would be great to resolve this. Not happy using my pixel 5 with this issue.

Iām sorry there are no other updates right now. what was said previously here is still the case.
When I got the oneplus 8 pro at launch, the plex worked fine in full screen. Do not know if it was oneplus or plex that destroyed it during an update.

My Note 10+ has a section in settings to force apps to function in full screen (which will cause video to display behind the camera cut-out). Does this really only exist on Samsung phones?
This is really bad by now. Pixel 6 and 7 at least the Pros have these punch holes and if anything they are the reference implementation. Netflix, YouTube and mostly everything else has proper implementation of this full screen mode. It is time Plex fixes it for their Android app, which I guess is a pretty standard use case of Plex in general.
