Bring back the list folder view

I recently updated Plex server to the latest version.

Now when I view a library of videos as “ Folder view ” , instead of the nice, compact list of files, with an orange dot to the right side clearly showing which are viewed or not. I get the view where the thumbnails are largish (I can only see about 6 video titles at a time) and they have the orange triangle in the corner to show if they are unviewed.

Also, after I finish watching a video it’s not clear which I was just watching (before it would have some animation in the file listing showing which is playing and I can easily find the next video).

I’m all for giving people multiple viewing options but WHY REMOVE an option? Maybe some people liked the compact list view?

Please bring back the ability to view a folder as a list (compact) like it was before.

Yes agree, bring it back! It was so useful.

I’ve had to downgrade now just to browse my content easily again.

This is a fundamental way to view content which just makes sense. Why do you think every operating system in the world has this view? I’ll answer my own question… because it’s required!

Also when you do restore this feature we already had for years, make it so we can sort on any column.
