How do I view list of trashed items?

• How do I prevent trashed items from disappearing even if I scanned/refreshed the library?

How do I view list of emptied items? I want to know what was removed so that I can find the problem and fix it.

Settings - Server - Library - ‘Empty trash automatically after every scan’ ← DISABLE

If you have ever used the episode retention settings in the DVR, be advised that these are effective globally, and not just in the DVR library.

The only place where you could find this information are the log files.
Make sure to enable ‘debug’ logging (but not ‘verbose’!).

Thanks. I got it enabled and have access to the log files. So what do I have to do next?

Restart Plex Server and wait until the issue occurs again.
There should be some clues which files were deleted and why in the Plex Media Server.log

Normally, Plex server will move deleted items into the trash bin. If your media are stored on network shares, this might not always work.
