Volume lower in Plex than other apps when using HomePod and AppleTV 4k Gen 3

Server Version#: 1.41.3.9292
Player Version#: AppleTV 4k Gen3 8.4.4

I recently got an Apple HomePod to replace a broken Samsung sound bar. Before the sound bar broke, all apps on my AppleTV (Plex, Amazon, Netflix, SpectrumTV) were in the same ‘volume space’ - all about the same loudness. After connecting the HomePod, I notice that the Plex volume is lower than the others. If I raise the volume in Plex to hear dialog more clearly, when I switch back to the other apps I’m blasted back in my couch. This is the case with both the new and old audio player (currently using old to get around playback issues).

I have the same issue on my Shield client. If I go into plex settings and change from HDMI passthrough to Optical (I don’t actually use an optical connection) the volume sits in the same “volume space” as the other apps. It does mean that content won’t direct play though. Not sure whether this helps or not but thought I’d throw it out there.
