Volume quiet while at max volume

I’m noticing that the volume of content is still quite low compared to playing content from other apps such as YouTube or Spotify. I’ve checked settings and have not seen any settings to boost volume or anything like that.

I noticed it particularly with one file that has an EAC3 5.1 audio stream. If I play it at original quality at max volume - it’s a little louder, but transcoded it’s really quiet.

Its been bugged this way forever and they still haven’t fixed. It is certainly a plex issue, because sometimes you can catch Plex media streams with commercials and the commercials are much louder

Most of the time the Plex app on my Vizio TV has volume comparable to other apps but every now and then when I launch it the volume will be quiter than it’s supposed to be and the only way to fix it is by playing hopscotch with the HDMI inputs
