episode 5 was matched as TBA when I first added it to plex. Now the episode has a real title on TVDB, but in plex it’s still TBA. How do I get it to change to the new title automatically?
You don’t.
('cause you do NOT want to activate a scheduled Refresh Metadata for your entire Library during maintenance)
You wait a day or two until Plex updates their TVDB Proxy - then you ‘Refresh Metadata’. How do you know when? You Refresh Metadata - when TBA changes to the Episode Name… it’s ready.
Or you do what I do - and just type in the episode name in an edit - if you can find the episode name anywhere - and within a few days of release it’s difficult for WandaVision… so we wait a few days.
