Was working fine. Now it's not. Can't add profile

I have had PlexConnect working fine with my iMac and AppleTV3. Many things have changed though and I'm not sure what broke the function.

I have updated my OS recently. I have also updated my router to a Netgear Night Hawk.

The first time I set this up it worked without needing any extra steps. Since that time I have read and read and tried many changes and fowarding of ports and turning off of firewalls etc.

No luck at all. I cannot add a profie. It gets stuck at that step.

My iMac is at 192.168.1.35

I manually made that change to the settings.

I have also mage sure I am running the latest Plex files and updated the ATV while I was at it.

I get immediate error when adding profie with IP address. The other way it spins for awhile and goes black. So frustrating.

Did you ever fix this? This happened to me after changing my plex password after the hack. I tried uninstalling plexconnect completely and reinstalling but when I try to add the profile on the ATV it tries for a long time (between 5-10 minutes) till I get an error.

“Unable to add profile.”
“An error occurred while adding the profile [-1001]. Check the URL and try again.”

I really fail to see any connection between the plex password and adding a profile…
How’s the log?
